The idea of BedButler was born when I was in the process of arranging a conference booking and we, the owners of the STAES and I were told that the accommodation would be put on the Internet for clients to book direct. This never happened; and I decided that my future clients were going to get exactly what they had been promised.
Many of the accommodation establishment owners are inexperienced in the hospitality industry with regards to targeting the travel trade. The travel trade consists of the agents (bookings and travel), tour operators and PCO's (Professional Conference Organisers) who work to increase the exposure of our products both nationally and internationally.
Through my many years of experience and observations as to how the industry works, I set about to design a system that works like my brain. I took into consideration all of the challenges with current systems, and decided to overcome them by making their very problem our unique selling points. BedButler is a work in progress, evolving with awareness of the requirements of all potential users.
Through 20 years of experience and passion in and for the hospitality industry, this system will be beneficial to all who book and stay in STAES (smaller type accommodation and self catering establishments).
